Who’s surprised to learn that Bend is one of the most restaurant-crazed cities in the country? Turns out we have the third highest number of restaurants per capita, according to a recent  Huffington Post survey (behind Salisbury, Maryland and Juneau, Alaska).
Medford & Portland also made the list (at #9 & #15, respectively). Other foodie towns included in the list’s Top 15: Panama City, Fla. (#4); New York City (#5); Florence-Myrtle Beach, S.C. (#6); Anchorage, Alaska (#7); Portland-Auburn, Minn. (#8); Santa Barbara-Santa Maria-San Luis Obispo, Calif. (#10); Honolulu, Hawaii (#11); San Francisco-Oakland-San Jose, Calif; (#12); Seattle-Tacoma (#13); and Charlottesville, Va.
Cheers to us!
