In February, the Sisters real estate market saw another increase in sales and another decrease in inventory. In fact, the 15 sales reflect the highest number of sales per month since October 2012. Meanwhile, the inventory is the lowest it’s been in the past four years (at least). By contrast, there were 122 Active listings in February 2012 and 125 Active listings in February 2011.
However, while we’re seeing plenty of overall sales activity, there still isn’t a lot of movement in the upper reaches of the price scale. Of the 15 Closed sales, only three were for homes priced above $500,000. Included in the Pending and Contingent sales are three more sales above $500,000.
