In June, the Sisters residential real estate market saw its strongest sales month in the past four years, with 19 Closed sales and 11 Pending sales. It also saw improvement in both Single Family Residential (SFR) and Residential With Acreage (RW) listings in two key areas: days on market (which decreased for both Active listings and Closed sales) and median sales price (which increased for both Active listings and Closed sales).
Not to sound like a broken record, but Sisters needs some inventory! In June, the supply of properties at the low end of the spectrum was all but non-existent; by June 30, there were just five Active SFR listings below $200,000 and no RW listings in that price range. (Last month, the least expensive Active RW listing was $145,000; by the end of June, it was $245,000.)
The Residential With Acreage category was especially active in June: There were four Contingent sales (typically, we only see one or two per month, if any), there was yet another million-dollar sale pending (after just 38 days on the market!), and there were four closed sales for more than $500,000.
