Now that we’re easing into the warm-weather home-selling season (even if we’re still waiting for the warm weather!), our bi-weekly Tuesday-morning broker tours in Sisters are heating up. After a winter in which each tour brought only a handful of listings (if that), we’re now seeing a bigger, stronger selection.
Actually, this morning’s broker tour was the best tour I’ve seen in a good long while. Not only did the weather cooperate — warming up nicely as the tour progressed — but the 10 homes we previewed were all worth seeing, most were priced quite well and there wasn’t a short sale or bank-owned property in the bunch.
We also saw a broad cross-section of price points — with three listings at the low end ($199,000, $199,500 and $215,000), a listing at the high end (a spectacular Aspen Lakes estate listed for an eyebrow-raising $2,590,000) and a handful of options at all price points in between. The mix was also pretty evenly divided between Single-family Residences and Residential with Acreage listings.
All in all, a very satisfying way to spend the morning.
